PREORDER - Neon Genesis Evangelion - Evangelion Test Type-01 figure, Toyrise

Evangelion Test Type-01, the iconic unit piloted by Shinji Ikari in Neon Genesis Evangelion, joins Takara Tomy’s TOYRISE line as a large articulated figure standing approximately 24 cm tall. Based on the proportions seen in the television series, this interpretation revisits selected shapes and details while retaining the instantly recognizable silhouette of Evangelion Unit-01.

Its wide range of articulation allows for combat poses and original configurations using the 3 mm hardpoints positioned across the body. The set includes a Progressive Knife, Palette Rifle, Magoroku Exterminate Sword, Counter Sword, Umbilical Cable, interchangeable hands and joint parts. The weapons can be combined and repositioned to create equipment setups beyond those seen in the anime.

The product image shows Unit-01 standing in its signature armor, dominated by purple with green, black and orange accents. The tall shoulder pylons frame its horned head, while the layered armor panels emphasize its slender proportions.
