Evangelion takes place in a science-fiction world where humanity fights the Angels using EVA units, giant humanoid machines piloted by teenagers within NERV. Unit-02 is the EVA associated with Asuka Langley, recognizable through its red armor, slender silhouette and more aggressive combat identity.
