The AAA Wunder (Autonomous Assault Ark Wunder) is an iconic ship from the Evangelion universe, tied to the Rebuild films and the idea of an assault ark powerful enough to take on godlike threats. It’s a futuristic war vessel that stands out through its sheer scale and its striking, layered superstructure design. Kotobukiya’s Ultra Scale AAA Wunder is a Plastic Model Kit measuring about 103 cm in length, built as a true centerpiece model to assemble and display, with color-separated parts designed to look accurate straight out of the box without painting.

In the films, the AAA Wunder is portrayed as a one-of-a-kind vessel meant to dominate the battlefield, giving it an almost mythical presence in the way it’s framed on screen. It isn’t just “big” — it represents overwhelming power and a shift in scale that changes how a battle feels. This kit echoes that spirit by combining an imposing size with an experience-focused build: interchangeable sections, magnet-equipped parts for easier attachment, and an included LED module that can bring the ship to life on display rather than leaving it purely static.

Visually, the model presents a massive, asymmetrical silhouette with two large side structures and a long central prow shaped like a blade, wrapped around a core that runs through the ship’s body. You can clearly see multiple dish-like radar antennas, stacked mechanical decks, and large cylindrical rear modules, while yellow parts at the ends read as propulsion or technical blocks. The color scheme mixes bluish grey, brick red, and white, with darker mechanical details and gold/yellow accents. The kit includes a dedicated display stand for stable placement on a flat surface, and it can also be reconfigured for wall-leaning display, with included mounting parts allowing it to be fixed to a wall for an “in-flight” look.
