Rebuild of Evangelion - Evangelion Test Type-01 figure, Brickroid

Evangelion Test Type-01 is arguably the most iconic unit in the entire Neon Genesis Evangelion saga. Piloted by Shinji Ikari, it embodies both raw power and the emotional complexity of the human-EVA bond. Its bold, unforgettable design is deeply etched into the visual identity of the series.

Present from the very first Angel battles, Unit-01 plays a central role in the show’s dramatic progression. As both a weapon and a sentient being, it stands at the heart of Evangelion’s most pivotal moments.

This Brickroid version faithfully preserves the unit’s signature visuals: bold purple armor, fluorescent green markings, yellow accents on the chest and legs, and a sharp-edged helmet with a yellow visor. The compact, blocky Brickroid form captures the Test Type-01’s iconic silhouette in a playful, stylized format.

Made of PVC and standing approximately 5 cm tall, the figure offers crisp details and high-contrast paintwork that stays true to the original design. Its sturdy build and stylized look make it a fun, retro-inspired addition to any Evangelion collection.
