R-Type

R-Type is a videogame franchise including many episodes and emerged from the studio Irem in 1987. First on Japanese arcade, the license was then entitled to episodes on the consoles. All the episodes are shoot-ups and the game offers us a horizontal scroll where we obviously have to defeat a maximum of ships and face huge bosses like the Dobkeratops.
