Linebarrels of Iron is a manga created by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi, but it is also entitled to an anime version.

Kouichi Hayase, a young boy of just fourteen, lived a life of the most mediocre and dreamed of becoming a hero until he was the victim of an accident. After a coma of more than six months, he discovers strange powers that will allow him to become a pilot of a giant robot named Linebarrel and meet an amnesiac girl named Emi Kizaki.
