Hikaru returns as an approximately 12 cm plush based on The Summer Hikaru Died. Made from polyester, this version uses simple and compact proportions while retaining the character's immediately recognizable features, including his very light hair, school uniform and unusual eyes.

In The Summer Hikaru Died, Hikaru is Yoshiki's childhood friend, but his return after disappearing in the mountains profoundly changes their relationship. Yoshiki quickly realizes that the being standing before him possesses Hikaru's appearance and memories without truly being the person he once knew. This unsettling contrast between familiarity and otherness lies at the heart of the series' disturbing atmosphere.

The plush depicts Hikaru sitting with his legs extended in front of him and his arms slightly spread apart. His white hair is formed from small pointed locks around his head, while his large gray eyes feature especially noticeable red centers. His embroidered smile contrasts with this strange gaze, and his outfit recreates a white shirt with dark trim, black trousers and a matching belt.
