In The Lord of the Rings, Aragorn is the heir of Isildur, a mortal ranger destined to become king, while Arwen is an immortal Elf and the daughter of Elrond, facing the departure of her people from Middle-earth. Their love crosses the boundaries of their different natures, the weight of destiny and the upheaval of war, becoming one of the deepest and most luminous bonds in the saga.

This official statue depicts their intimate meeting on the bridge of Rivendell as seen in The Fellowship of the Ring. Far from the battles and conflicts threatening Middle-earth, Aragorn and Arwen share a suspended moment in which their closeness affirms a choice stronger than the uncertainty surrounding their future.

Arwen stands in a long white gown whose fabric trails across the bridge, facing Aragorn in his dark ranger clothing. Their closely positioned faces and gently touching hands convey the tenderness of the scene, while the sculpted Elven bridge, stones, vegetation and flowing water complete the Rivendell setting. Made primarily of polystone, the piece stands approximately 24 cm tall; the figures were digitally sculpted by Jason Zhang, while the base and bridge were physically sculpted by Shaun Bolton.
