Created exclusively for The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Lurtz represents the brutal might of Saruman’s Uruk-hai. Taller and more savage than his brethren, he leads the ambush at Amon Hen. Behind-the-scenes tidbit: actor Lawrence Makoare endured two hours of daily makeup and unleashed war cries so intense that the sound team had to step back to avoid audio clipping!

Measuring approximately 20 × 25 × 22 cm, this piece depicts Lurtz in a victorious combat stance: feet firmly planted, arms outstretched, clad in crudely studded armor. Streaks of blood and mud coat his muscular thighs and the beastly snarl sculpted on his face, capturing the raw realism of the scene. The understated round base, modeled after Amon Hen’s rocky terrain, showcases his triumphant silhouette.
