In The Mobile Police Patlabor, the AV-98 Ingram 1 is the police Labor nicknamed Alphonse, recognized by its white-and-black armor and design inspired by law-enforcement vehicles. Kotobukiya rereleases this iconic mecha as an approximately 11 cm tall D-Style plastic model kit, using compact proportions while retaining the defining elements of its silhouette.

Originally released as the first model in the D-Style line, this stylized Ingram features extensive articulation for recreating different scenes from the series. The kit includes its Revolver Cannon and Stun Stick, while the markings on the shoulders, shield and back are reproduced with pad printing; the shoulder lights and several grey joint sections are also pre-painted for an accurate finish after assembly.

The AV-98 Ingram 1 features a white body with black joints and armor sections, a broad green visor beneath its helmet and two long antennae rising above the head. Red emergency lights sit on its shoulders, while a white shield bearing Japanese police markings protects its left arm; its wide-legged stance and the Stun Stick held in its right hand emphasize the short, powerful proportions characteristic of the D-Style line.
