Mobile Police Patlabor - Ingram Plus (AV-98 Plus) figure 1st, Robot Spirits Side Labor

Ingram Plus (AV-98 Plus) 1st comes from Patlabor (Mobile Police Patlabor), a sci-fi mecha universe where construction and security robots called “Labors” are part of everyday life, with a more urban and police-focused approach than traditional war mecha series. The Ingram is one of the franchise’s most iconic machines, immediately recognizable through its white police-unit silhouette and functional design language. This official figure by Bandai Tamashii Nations, released in the Robot Spirits Side Labor line, depicts the Ingram Plus (AV-98 Plus) 1st in an approximately 13 cm format.

In the Patlabor universe, the Ingrams represent the image of a specialized police unit handling Labor-related incidents, with a strong visual identity that combines law-enforcement equipment and humanoid mecha mobility. Their role in the series is tied as much to action as to the police setting itself, including urban interventions and the management of technical or dangerous situations. This figure captures that identity well by emphasizing an operational silhouette, with display poses that evoke both firearm engagement and baton/tonfa-style intervention.

Visually, the mecha is shown with mostly white armor and dark gray/black joint sections visible at the hips, arms, and legs. The head features the Ingram’s characteristic angular design, with a narrow green visor and two vertical antennae. Translucent orange police lights are mounted on the shoulders, along with police markings and numbers on the shoulders/forearms, and a forearm shield panel with Japanese lettering. The photos show varied poses, including one aiming a handgun and another using a baton, highlighting the figure’s articulation and the long, clean leg silhouette. The overall look remains very readable on display thanks to the white/black contrast and iconic police-mecha design.
