Patlabor 2: The Movie - AV-98 Ingram Reactive Armor figure, Moderoid Plastic Model Kit

In Patlabor 2: The Movie, the tone shifts into something more tense and militarized, where Labors feel less like tools and more like pressure on the streets. The AV-98 Ingram is one of the franchise’s defining silhouettes, and this Reactive Armor version leans into that reinforced, ready-for-escalation presence. This official Moderoid Plastic Model Kit is made of plastic by Good Smile Company, about 13 cm tall in 1/60 scale.

The Ingram is tied to the Special Vehicle Section 2, a unit that often ends up handling incidents that quickly go beyond routine work. In Patlabor 2, deployments carry a heavier weight, and an Ingram fitted with “Reactive Armor” immediately reads like a machine built to hold position when the situation turns. The kit captures that mood through a straight, guarded stance that feels like it’s waiting for the next command.

What you can see is a build mixing a dark gray body with white leg armor, topped by a bulky olive green chest-and-shoulder armor set that makes the upper frame look heavier. The head is white with a green visor, and a small light-colored fin/antenna detail sticks out on the side. In the right hand, it holds a long dark baton-like weapon, while a large rectangular green unit is mounted along the left arm. The feet are black, the waist belt section is white, and the thighs/shins show sharp panel lines and angular armor shapes; the wide planted pose makes it easy to display without feeling wobbly.
