PRE ORDER - One Piece - Monkey D. Luffy figure 20th Anniversary, Artcanvas

Monkey D. Luffy becomes a three-dimensional canvas with this LUFFY's ARTCANVAS figure celebrating the 20th anniversary of One Piece. Produced in 1/8 scale and standing approximately 21.5 cm tall, this second release in the series uses the stylized silhouette of Luffy as a surface for a color illustration created by Eiichiro Oda in 2017 to commemorate 20 years of the manga's serialization.

The ARTCANVAS concept applies One Piece illustrations directly across the figure using a water-transfer printing technique. For this -20th Anniversary- edition, the artwork extends all the way to the soles of the feet, with the exact placement naturally varying from one figure to another. The printing process is handled so that at least one image of Luffy appears somewhere on the front of the body, giving each individual piece a slightly different arrangement of the artwork.

The figure uses a slender Luffy-inspired silhouette complete with his straw hat, curved arms and distinctive oversized sandals. Its entire surface is covered in a dense collage of characters, scenes and colors taken from the anniversary illustration, with blue, yellow, brown and red tones appearing throughout. The imagery continues across the hat, torso, arms, legs and feet, transforming the complete character shape into a three-dimensional canvas.
