Naruto Shippuden - Deidara figure, Noir Edge Collection

Deidara, a member of the Akatsuki and a former shinobi of Iwagakure in Naruto Shippuden, joins Banpresto’s Noir Edge Collection with this approximately 23 cm figure. Instantly recognizable by his long tied-up hair, forehead protector and black Akatsuki cloak decorated with red clouds, he stands out as one of the series’ most memorable antagonists thanks to his provocative personality and highly personal view of combat.

Obsessed with the idea that “art is an explosion,” Deidara uses a special clay that he molds and infuses with chakra to create explosive weapons and creatures. After leaving Iwagakure, he joins the Akatsuki, where he notably partners first with Sasori and later with Tobi. His long-range fighting style, love of dramatic presentation and arrogant attitude make him a particularly memorable opponent, especially in his clashes with Gaara, Kakashi and Sasuke.

The figure depicts Deidara standing in the Akatsuki’s long cloak, with the high collar raised around his face and the red interior visible along the opening and sleeves. His light-colored hair is tied into a high ponytail while a long fringe falls across one side of his face. Both hands are raised in front of him in an expressive pose that directly evokes his explosive art, and his cold stare adds further intensity to the display.
