Mobile Suit Gundam - Principality of Zeon Black Tri-Stars Ortega Normal Suit figure, G.M.G

In Mobile Suit Gundam, the Principality of Zeon relies on elite pilots whose reputations were forged on the battlefield, during the most tense operations of the war. Ortega, a member of the Black Tri-Stars, is one of those figures tied to a fearsome team-based efficiency, with a trio identity instantly familiar to fans. This official “Principality of Zeon Black Tri-Stars Ortega, Normal Suit” figure is released by Megahouse in PVC, stands about 10 cm tall, and comes from the Gundam Military Generation (G.M.G) line, focused on characters in military gear and uniform details.

The Black Tri-Stars represent a unit that operates as a single block, where strength comes from coordination and repeated maneuvers rather than lone-wolf heroics. Within that dynamic, Ortega reads as a pilot used to acting fast and fitting into a group strategy, carrying more of a “soldier” vibe than a “myth.” The Normal Suit version highlights the operational side: pilot equipment ready for engagement, closer to the reality of war than a stylized cockpit moment.

Visually, the figure shows Ortega standing in a suit dominated by black, contrasted by gold/yellow elements on the helmet, chest armor, gloves, and boots. A gold/yellow vertical stripe runs down the center, while a red belt marks the waist. The helmet is bulky with a visor and strong color blocks, and the image also includes an alternate unhelmeted head, a separate helmet piece, and multiple interchangeable hand sets to vary poses. The overall silhouette stays compact and military-looking, easy to display alongside the other members of the trio.
