Aldnoha.Zero - KG-7 Areion figure, Moderoid Model Kit

In Aldnoah.Zero, the war between Earth and the Martian Vers Empire turns every battle into a clash of technology and nerve, with mecha combat driving the story forward. The KG-7 Areion fits right into that lineup of Earth-built machines designed to hold the line, react fast, and keep moving when everything gets chaotic. This official figure is a plastic Moderoid Plastic Model Kit by Good Smile Company, standing about 15 cm tall once assembled.

Within the series, Earth Kataphrakts like the Areion represent practical efficiency: units meant for direct engagement, support fire, and steady advances under pressure, even when the enemy seems to have the upper hand. The overall shape sells that idea through heavy armor volumes and a silhouette that looks built to push forward without losing control. The figure captures that mood with a wide, grounded stance, like a step that could instantly turn into covering fire.

Visually, the Areion comes in a solid olive drab scheme, broken up by light gray stripes on the arms and legs, with dark gray sections showing at the joints and inner frame. The head is compact and angular, with a smooth front panel that reads like a sensor/visor. The torso stacks thick armor plates, and the waist is wrapped with rigid skirt-like armor parts. In one hand it carries a black rifle with squared-off lines, while the other arm features a large armor block that feels like an equipment module or mounting point. The legs are especially bulky and end in broad, flat feet; displayed like this, it has a strong shelf presence without relying on an extreme pose.
