In Akane-banashi, Akane Osaki follows the path of rakugo, a Japanese storytelling art in which a single performer brings several characters to life while seated on a cushion. The Mini Memory line revisits her beginnings with this approximately 8 cm First Performance Ver. chibi figure.
Shaped by her father’s experience and his expulsion from the professional rakugo world, Akane works to improve until her own talent can be fully recognized. This version recalls one of her earliest performances, when her energy, powers of observation and love of the stage are already beginning to define her style as a storyteller.
Akane is depicted kneeling on a purple cushion and wearing a pink kimono secured by a thin dark sash. Her black hair with pink tips is tied high behind her head, while her smile and raised hand accompany the performance. The scene stands on a rectangular red base and includes a white sign displaying the name “Akane” vertically in Japanese.
