Junji Ito Maniac - Tomie figure, Nendoroid

In Junji Ito Maniac, horror comes through short stories where everyday life snaps into something deeply unsettling, with that unmistakable Junji Ito creepiness. Tomie is one of the most iconic faces of this world: a disturbingly captivating beauty who draws people in, triggers obsession, and then makes everything collapse around her. This official PVC figure stands at around 10 cm tall and brings her into Nendoroid form by Good Smile Company, using a chibi style that creates a deliberate, eerie contrast.

Tomie feels like a toxic, hypnotic presence: she pushes people into fascination, jealousy, and violence, as if she brings out the worst in them. Her story also carries that “you can’t get rid of her” feeling, like she always comes back, which makes her even more unsettling. This Nendoroid leans into that duality, keeping her cool, self-assured attitude while offering options that can turn the mood sharply darker.

Visually, Tomie has long black hair with straight bangs, and a face with grey-blue eyes and a slightly smug expression. She wears a simple grey dress with a slim belt, and she stands on the classic black Nendoroid base with a clear support. The photos show multiple parts: a face with hands raised near her cheeks, another pose with arms spread, a small white tied bag accessory with a black mark that resembles an eye, and—most striking—a horror head piece where a large mass of hair reveals a grotesque second face on the side. There’s also a separate “head placed” piece shown on a small cylindrical support with floral patterns.
