The Apothecary Diaries - Maomao figure, Blossom

In The Apothecary Diaries, Maomao is a young apothecary whose knowledge of remedies, illnesses and poisons draws attention within the imperial court. Banpresto presents her in the Espresto line with this approximately 12 cm Twilight Blossom figure, seated within a floral composition.

Initially working as a servant in the rear palace, Maomao tries to remain unnoticed until her ability to solve medical incidents is recognized by Jinshi. Her analytical mind, fascination with toxic substances and pragmatic attitude allow her to unravel mysteries involving the imperial consorts and other members of the court.

Maomao sits on a broad orange flower-shaped base with her legs folded to one side and one hand raised near her chest. Her dark green hair is arranged into two small braids and tied with a blue ribbon, while her outfit combines a green top with white and red trim, a long dark blue skirt and green shoes. Her calm expression complements the gentle atmosphere of the Twilight Blossom version.
