Yuta Okkotsu is a Special Grade Sorcerer and the main character of Jujutsu Kaisen 0. At first, Yuta is a shy, traumatized teenager haunted by the cursed spirit of his childhood friend, Rika Orimoto, who died in a tragic accident and now follows him as an immensely powerful curse. His overwhelming cursed energy places him under the close watch of the jujutsu sorcerers.

He is transferred to Tokyo Jujutsu High, where Satoru Gojo mentors him. Through training, Yuta transforms from a passive victim into a skilled fighter with a strong sense of justice and a fierce will to protect others. His natural talent for channeling cursed energy is extraordinary—some even see him as more dangerous than Yuji Itadori.
