PREORDER - Hyouka - Eru Chitanda figure, Glitter & Glamours

Eru Chitanda, one of the main heroines of Hyouka, joins Banpresto's Glitter & Glamours collection with this 26 cm figure. Inspired by Honobu Yonezawa's novel series and its anime adaptation by Kyoto Animation, this collectible depicts the young girl wearing a white swimsuit and holding a pink beach ball above her head. Her long black hair tied into a ponytail, large violet eyes and surprised expression recreate the character's distinctive features. The Glitter & Glamours line focuses on larger figures, with particular attention paid to proportions, poses and clothing details.

In Hyouka, Eru Chitanda is a high school student from an influential traditional family in the Kamiyama region. As president of the school's Classics Club, she is known for her boundless curiosity and enthusiasm whenever a mystery catches her attention. Her famous phrase, "I'm curious!", regularly encourages Houtarou Oreki, who prefers to conserve his energy, to investigate unusual everyday events. Alongside Satoshi Fukube and Mayaka Ibara, she participates in various investigations that gradually uncover the stories and secrets surrounding their school. Beneath her polite and reserved demeanor, Chitanda possesses considerable determination and sensitivity toward others. This Glitter & Glamours figure offers a summer-themed interpretation of the character, featuring a swimsuit and a pose reminiscent of a day at the beach.

The figure depicts Eru standing with her legs slightly apart and both arms raised above her head to hold a round beach ball decorated with pink, white and yellow patterns. Her long black hair is tied into a ponytail flowing behind her shoulder, while several strands frame her face and large violet eyes. Her slightly open mouth gives her a surprised expression, as though something has suddenly caught her attention. She wears a white two-piece swimsuit featuring a thin-strapped top decorated with small frills and matching bottoms with bows at the sides. Her slender standing pose, with one leg slightly bent and her bare feet resting on the ground, complements the movement of her raised arms. The details of her outfit, flowing strands of hair and pastel colors of the beach ball complete this summer scene.
