Godzilla (1954) - Godzilla figure Movie Graphic Plus, S.H. MonsterArts

The ultimate symbol of Japanese kaijū cinema, Godzilla has embodied fear, power, and legacy since 1954. With this Movie Graphic Plus edition, Tamashii Nations pays tribute to the origin of the legendary monster, combining a detailed figure with a graphic insert featuring the classic film poster.

In his original 1954 appearance, Godzilla was a raw force of nature—a metaphor for nuclear terror and a haunting cinematic presence. This figure faithfully recreates that primal design, steeped in darkness and menace.

The sculpt captures the bulky, rough look of the original suit, with deeply textured black skin, articulated limbs and tail, and contrasting white dorsal plates. Godzilla stands in a slightly hunched, ready-to-roar pose. Beside him, a rigid display board showcases the 1954 movie poster, grounding the figure in its cinematic roots.

Standing approximately 15 cm tall, this articulated figure allows for multiple poses with movable arms, legs, head, and tail. The matte paint finish and sculpted detail preserve the iconic simplicity and intensity of Godzilla’s first form. A collector's piece that honors the monster's legacy with subtlety and respect.
