Shin Getter Robot Armageddon - Getter 1 OVA figure, Moderoid Plastic Model Kit

If you’re into classic super robots, Getter 1 in its OVA style is instantly recognizable. This official plastic figure stands about 15 cm tall and comes from Good Smile Company’s Moderoid Model Kit line. It’s a compact version of the mecha meant to be built and displayed once assembled, capturing the bulk and presence of the anime design.

In the Getter Robo OVAs, Getter 1 is the unit that charges straight into close combat, delivering heavy hits with a very old-school “super robot” vibe. You can feel both raw power and unwavering resolve in the way it fights. That feeling comes through in this kit’s pose: legs firmly planted, cape flaring out, weapon raised as if it’s about to land a finishing blow on the next kaiju or enemy machine.

The design keeps the classic color scheme: bright red on the limbs and shoulders, white on the legs and forearms, and a large yellow midsection wrapped with a dark belt. The chest features green panels, while the head sports sharp horns, a stylized face and a green central eye. Getter 1 wears a flowing red cape that drapes down its back and spreads to the sides, boosting its heroic silhouette. In its right hand it holds a massive axe with a textured blade and a spiked mace on the reverse side. The thick proportions and wide feet give it a solid stance once the model is built and set up on your shelf.
