In Cowboy Bebop, the Swordfish II is Spike Spiegel’s personal ship, used during his bounty hunting missions across the solar system. Its red silhouette, long front cannon and compact cockpit make it one of the most recognizable vehicles from the series. This Swordfish II plastic model comes from Good Smile Company’s MODEROID line, is produced in 1/72 scale and measures about 24 cm long by 20 cm wide.

In the anime, the Swordfish II perfectly matches Spike’s style: fast, direct and ready for dangerous chases as well as tense space battles. The ship appears in several action scenes and remains tied to both his pilot past and his life aboard the Bebop. The kit reflects that identity with an assembly designed to recreate the ship, deployable landing gear, a movable plasma cannon, a detachable cockpit and an adjustable stand for flight display.

The visual shows the Swordfish II with an elongated red body, two thin cross-shaped wings and a long silver cannon pointing forward. The cockpit sits on top, with a clear canopy that reveals the inner section. The rear of the ship has a black and gray engine block surrounded by rounded red panels, while the wing and tail ends form angular fins. The panel lines and small gray parts across the surface add to the mechanical look of the model.
