PREORDER - Armored Core - Mirage C01-GAEA figure Red Metal, Plastic Model Kit

The Mirage C01-GAEA, an Armored Core from FromSoftware's video game Armored Core: Nexus, joins Kotobukiya's Variable Infinity (V.I.) model kit line in its Red Metal Ver. This 1/72 scale plastic model stands approximately 16 cm tall when assembled and recreates the original machine's mechanical design with a metallic red, black and gray color scheme. It is a reissue of a previously limited-edition color variant, featuring the same red armor color used for the Mirage C02-URANUS.

In Armored Core: Nexus, players take on the role of a Raven, a mercenary piloting a customizable combat machine to complete various missions. The Mirage C01-GAEA belongs to a world where Armored Cores are assembled from interchangeable components, allowing their performance and weapon configurations to be adapted. This kit includes the H11-QUEEN head, C01-GAEA core, A11-MACAQUE arms and LH09-COUGAR2 legs. Its weapons consist of the CR-WR93RL rifle, WL-MOONLIGHT laser blade, MAGORAGA missile launcher, CR-WB91LGL linear gun and FUNI extension system. Two types of hands are also included, featuring closed fists and weapon-holding hands. Compatibility with other models from the V.I. series allows different components to be exchanged to create customized configurations.

The model depicts a humanoid combat machine with an angular silhouette, compact torso, broad shoulders and substantial mechanical legs. Its dark metallic red armor is combined with gray, black and silver components, revealing numerous joints and mechanical details. The head features a narrow design with small turquoise accents, while the arms carry different weapons. A long rifle extends along the left side of the image, with additional equipment mounted on the back and shoulders. The legs feature overlapping armor panels and large articulated feet, with small pointed elements at their tips.
