IS: Infinite Stratos

IS: Infinite Stratos was first released in the form of light novel illustrated by Okiura and written by Izuru Yumizuru which was entitled to a adaptation in manga designed by Kenji Akahoshi. Finally, a television series of animation was also born.

The Infinite Stratos, or IS are exoskeletons created by a Japanese scientist who can only be worn by women. At least that was what was thought before the young Ichika Orimura was able to do so and was trained as a pilot in an academy full of women.
