Long Gone Gulch is an independent animated short blending adventure, comedy, western, and fantasy, created by Tara Billinger and Zach Bellissimo, and funded through Kickstarter. Released on YouTube in January 2021, it follows Rawhide and Snag, a pair of unconventional sheriffs tasked with restoring peace in a whimsical town inhabited by mythical creatures. The pilot stands out with its expressive 2D animation, breakneck pacing, and a tone that’s both zany and heartfelt.
