Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet aka Suisei no gargantia from its original name is an anime by Gen Urobuchi. He was entitled to two OVAs but also to a manga. The story takes place in the future where everything is bad for humanity. Ledo and the galactic alliance are facing a race called Hideous which greatly threatens the future. However, and during a fight, Ledo will find himself transported to Earth where he will meet Amy, a messenger. He will have to learn the culture of his new habitat and live alongside the members of the Gargantia fleet!
